On completion of the course in addition to having covered the latest safety code, you will have completed a theory test and received familiarisation or corrective training covering such topics as pre-operational checks, driving and steering, stacking, de-stacking, load handling and the fitting and use of attachments.
Course Objectives |
To refresh job safety knowledge, and give corrective tuition and assessment tests to operators previously trained and certificated but who may require a short safety refresher course, to maintain the correct standards of operation.
This course is suitable for: Reach trucks, electric and I.C.E Industrial Counterbalance, Sideloader, Pivot Steer (Articulated) Lift Trucks, Industrial Telescopic Handler.
This course may also be given as a conversion or familiarisation course, in cases where formally trained operators may be required to convert from one machine type to another, or where familiarisation may be required for a new machine or attachment. |
Course Duration |
1 - 2 Days: Actual duration dependant on amount of corrective tuition required in preparation for assessment test or type of conversion being undertaken. (Maximum of 3 candidates per course). |
Course Content |
Approx 2 ½ Hrs Classroom based Theory training to revise safety knowledge including current legislation, best practice & relevant safety films, followed by sufficient supervised practical exercises for restoring good operating habits & skills. |
Course Certification |
On successful completion of a theory test consisting of both open and multiple choice questions and a practical assessment test, successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Training in Basic Practical Skill and Ability. |
Course Documentation |
Training Records and Nationally recognised & registered Certification (Either ITSSAR or NPORS) with Photo ID Card forwarded to Employer. |
Course Manuals |
Comprehensive Course Manual and Safety Code issued to each candidate. |
Course Location |
On Site at Customer's premises or other nominated venue. |
Staff Instructors |
All Safe-T-Solutions instructors are accredited by the appropriate accrediting body and are also fully experienced, trained, tested and certificated on the relevant machines. |
Course Pricing |
£85.00 per day per candidate for standard Industrial Trucks. (For self sponsoring candidates at our training centre)
For on site courses our daily Instructor rate of £185.00 will apply.
Training can be offered 24 Hrs a day 7 days a week, our daily Instructor rate for weekends & out of standard hours (courses starting before 06.30 or finishing after 22.00) of £245.00 will apply. |
