All the training courses are carried out by professional and qualified instructors with a background in the Fire Service and are designed to be very interactive and enjoyable to give the candidate a good practical understanding of the requirements of their role.
Fire Warden/Marshall Course
4 hour course with a maximum of 12 delegates per session.
The course is designed for members of staff who are nominated to act as Fire Wardens. The course aims to improve the candidates understanding of the fire risks in the workplace and how to act within company procedures.
The candidate will learn about fire and the way in which it spreads and be taught the correct way to fight fire along with an understanding of fire safety risks and how to prevent them. Candidates will use a Live Fire Training Unit to learn how to use all fire extinguishers correctly and safely.
Course Content also includes:
- Arson
- Induction training
- Means of escape
- Human behaviour
- Evacuation
- Roll-call and fire drills
- Products of combustion
- Hands on practical fire extinguisher training using real extinguishers on real fires in 5 different scenarios within a safe and controlled environment.
The courses can be run in-house or at our training centre which offers a cost effective way for employers to train a small number of employees.
All handouts and training materials and certificates are included in the cost of the course.

Standard Course
2.5 hour course with a maximum of 12 delegates per session.
The course is designed for any person who may have to use an extinguisher in the workplace and will provide candidates with increased confidence in use of the correct equipment in the event of a fire.
Course Content:
- Understanding of fire: how a fire develops and spreads:
- Main causes within the workplace
- Extinguishers and using them correctly
- Hands on practical fire extinguisher training using real extinguishers on real fires in 5 different scenarios within a safe and controlled environment.
The courses can be run in-house or at our training centre which offers a cost effective way for employers to train a small number of employees.
All handouts and training materials and certificates are included in the cost of the course.
