Course breakdown
Appointed person
This Emergency First Aid Course can be adapted to suit a particular audiences needs and is ideal for people requiring Appointed Person status. There is no formal examination. Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with an attendance certificate which is valid for three years.
Course includes:
- First Aid Priorities
- Unconsciousness
- Examining a Casualty
- Regulations
- Burns and Scalds
- Basic Life Support
- Control of Bleeding
Training manuals and certificates are included in the price along with a light lunch, tea and coffee.
If attending a full day course then a light lunch can be ordered on arrival.
Basic Resuscitation
This course is suitable for those who wish to learn how to perform CPR but do not require a full First Aid qualification. Candidates will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
The course includes:
- Dealing with an unconscious casualty
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Parent and child
This course will teach you the emergency life saving techniques and confidence to help your baby or child if they stop breathing. Candidates will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course. This course can be held at your own home (please contact us for a quote). Duration: 2 hours at a cost of £20.00

- Common childhood illnesses
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Recovery Position
- Choking
