Indeed, risk assessments form the lynchpin of health and safety management. This course puts the emphasis on practical exercises, meaning that delegates will leave with the ability to perform risk assessments in their own organisations.

Course Content |
Classroom based theory training to inform candidates of the relevant legislation / statutory requirements (HASWA 1974, The Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1999).
General principles of prevention.
Hazard identification & analysis, leading to risk categorisation & evaluation.
The development & selection of control measures including case study exercises.
The recording & reviewing of the assessments. |
Course Certification |
On successful completion of a theory test consisting of both open and multiple choice questions, and practical assessment using a progressive assessment report, successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Training in Basic Practical Skill and Ability. |
Course Documentation |
Training Records and a certificate of attendance will be forwarded to Employer. |
Course Manuals |
Comprehensive Course Manual and Safety Code issued to each candidate. |
Course Location |
On-site at Customers premises, at our training centre or other nominated venue. |
